About FCA Great Britain
Our Story
In 1954, American basketball coach Don McClanen had a simple but powerful idea. He saw that athletes often used their influence to promote brands — and began to wonder what might happen if they used that same influence to share their faith in Jesus Christ. From that vision, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) was born. Now, FCA is a global organization focused on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the Gospel.
